got into GRANDADDY too late...haven't even purchased all the records yet.  so it was quite a treat to finally witness some of their tunes performed live.  

seems that GRANDADDY struck up a friendship with Dallas music legend Tim DeLaughter of Tripping Daisy & Polyphonic Spree fame.  so Jason & Aaron planned to hang out with us Texans on the release date of their final GRANDADDY record.

had my misc clipped to a cap & was standing toward the left side of the venue/store maybe 10 feet from the stage.  the recording thankfully has less audience chatter than my ears heard.  music shines thru loud & clear.

nice mix of GRANDADDY standards, obscurities & a couple cover tunes for good measure.
