y'all want minutia? ok...
this crazy event happened on Record Store Day
2011. GOOD Records is a 2-story record store
just north of downtown Dallas, TX. I got in line
about 9am and waited at least an hour to gain
entrance to the metroplex's premier record store.
set my rig up dead center roughly 10' from the
PA. by some weird coincidence loads of my family
members managed to filter in for this performance.
Mother, father, sister...check, check, check, ...
but most importantly my niece, a new Lytle recruit,
got the front-row treatment. the band made no time
for glad-handing the fans. every inch of audience
space was claimed. all other space was filled
by the grand GRANDlake sound. he played, they
played, they kicked ass! GRANDer stuff happened
later in Denton. :)
